There is one word to describe the current economic conditions at the Lake? GROWTH!

Cypress At The Lake Condos To Be Complete In 2018!!

A condo project that was abandoned around the time of the recession has been purchased and is now nearing completion. It was officially called "Majestic Pointe" when it first began, but after being abandoned it was locally dubbed the "Beirut Hilton." Fresh life has been breathed into the project, and it will be opening as Cypress At The Lake, in Spring 2018.

Recently, many people are choosing to work from home offices. With advances in the Internet and numerous telecommunication devices, self-employment is becoming big business at the Lake.

With buying property at the lake, as well as building a new home, property prices are steadily increasing but are distinctively lower than other resort communities. No matter what type of housing you are looking for, you are bound to get more for your money at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The lake area's chambers of commerce can help in getting new businesses on the right track. They work closely together and with the Convention and Visitor's Bureau to keep area businesses thriving. They provide demographic information for businesses and they can help establish P.O. boxes, cable services, and obtain other various licenses or permits.

Remember Shooters 21, the iconic Lake of the Ozarks bar that hosted the Shootout for nearly two decades? Now you can have a lake home there.

This fall, O’Sullivan Developments will begin building a luxury residential subdivision on extra-large lots where thousands used to enjoy the Lake, at the site of the former Shooters 21. The subdivision has been aptly named Shooters Paradise at the 21.

A Unique Development: Houses Built Exclusively As Vacation Homes Near A Lakefront Hotspot

The owner of Backwater Jacks has plans to build up to eight houses on a hillside near the restaurant/bar. The houses would be used exclusively as vacation rentals. City officials say this is a unique way of putting residences near a Lakefront bar that creates synergy.

                          Osage Common

The hottest area for development in Osage Beach, a 14-acre lot next to the Premium Outlet Marketplace is being cleared for a commercial project that developers say will bring a mix of retail and restaurants.

Arrowhead Senior Living Community will have 80 assisted living and memory care private apartments and offer skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for up to 90 customers.

The pay-as-you-go Arrowhead Centre TIF development will have a rustic feel throughout, according to principal owner and developer Gary Mitchell. The design and name of the development were inspired by the Lake’s old Arrowhead Lodge on Bagnell Dam Blvd., which was demolished years ago.

An ALDI discount supermarket is coming to Eagles Landing in Lake Ozark.

Eagles Landing spokesman Andy Prewitt says his organization is excited about bringing such a well-known and widely popular supermarket to the lake area. “We have worked on this for a long time and are extremely happy to be able to make this announcement,” Prewitt said. “ALDI is a favorite of value shoppers across the country.”
